Rocket Spanish Languages on Your Computer, IPod or MP3 Player
During the past year, rocket spanish Languages has updated to today’s technology. One of the greatest improvements in the program during the past year has been the use of new technology, allowing you to download the program materials to your i-Pod or MP3 Player. Adults can still purchase a hardcopy version, shipped to their homes. Others will continue to download the program to their computer. The downloadable version includes 4 E-books equaling about 500 pages of lessons, exercises, activities, flash cards and much more.
The Rocket Spanish program is an interactive online program, adult learners use along with learning tools included in the program. In the past, you needed to sit at your computer and read all of the lessons, unless you made copies of all the pages, which could be expensive. Now you are able to take the program with you wherever you take your i-Pod.
The pages of vocabulary words once copied and cut into Flash cards are very important. The words on the flash cards are both Spanish and English. It is a good idea to put flash cards into common groups. For example, put the days of the week together and memorize them. Put the months of year, the numbers from one to one hundred together, and so forth. It is easier to memorize the Spanish vocabulary in common groups, rather than a long list of unrelated words. You may even want to put flash cards with the Spanish words for foods in alphabetical order before beginning to memorize them.
There are many how to learn to speak Spanish programs online and some of them are helpful. However, only Rocket Spanish really prepares you to face the world as a Spanish speaker. Just like other programs you will be capable of speaking with others within about eight weeks, however, you will only be able to speak the words, phrases, sentences and conversations taught in the first few lessons of the program.
You will not, at the end of eight weeks be prepared to walk up to a native Spanish speaker and hold a lively conversation. You will be able to speak enough Spanish to let the person know you are only beginning to speak Spanish. You will be prepared to carry on some short conversations, order a meal, ask directions or otherwise get help, if you need it, but there is more to learn.
Some people learn quickly and work through all of the beginners lessons in as little as three months. They become very comfortable speaking Spanish and move on to the intermediate level. Keep in mind there are about 500 pages of material and 12 hours of CD software. In addition, there are exercises, vocabulary drills, quizzes and the MegaVocab and MegaAudio games all working together to help you speak spanish, comfortably. Many people take 6-9 months to reach the intermediate level because of time constraints. Remember the goal of Rocket Spanish Languages is to teach you to speak Spanish. It is not a race against time.

Rocket Spanish Course – Really Work?
Hi everyone
Does someone tried the rocket spanish course to learn spanish online? I really want to learn spanish and wonder if this course really good and worth the money.
If someone tried the rocket spanish course please let me know if you found it useful or not.
Thanks amigos
Hi Dana
Firstly Rocket Spanish is the cheapest online Spanish language product that I know of. However, this does not mean anything with regards to it’s quality. Rocket Spanish certainly over-delivers in that respect.
I have personally used Rosetta Stone, the Spanish language software before, but it cost 4 times as much as Rocket Spanish. Rosetta Stone is good, but it is really for more experienced speakers of the language who want to further their education. rocket spanish, for a much lower price, will allow you to build the fundamentals of the Spanish language without burning a hole in your pocket. It also does away with the fluff that is not beginner-friendly.
Another course is the Pimsleur course, which came out a long time ago. This is mainly an audio course that consists of 100 lessons, each of which is 20 minutes long. However it’s price is extremely high (almost 9 times the cost of Rocket Spanish). I would not say it is worth that much, but it is certainly a comprehensive course.
The bottom line is that if you are just a beginner rocket Spanish will be the best solution for you. If you have more experience and money then maybe the other courses will be a better solution.
However, the rocket Spanish course is the most affordable option in my opinion and you can also get about 25% for the rocket Spanish course here:

Hope it helps, good luck with your Spanish!
has anyone here used Rocket Spanish?
I’m thinking of ordering it. Does it really work? The download version is only $99, but is it the same as the 20 CD version?
I have Rocket Japanese. I can tell you a lot about that.
When you download it, you can burn CDs, and I made about 14 CDs out of my downloads, but theirs may be less dense than mine.
Rocket Japanese, and presumably Rocket everything, is pretty much a tourist’s language guide. They don’t explain the grammar all that well, and they teach you to ask and understand the kinds of things tourists want to know. In fact, in Rocket Japanese, at least a good bit of the way through, they don’t even explain all the words in the sentence. My guess is they don’t want to scare away the average listener with too much grammar. But the problem was, I didn’t learn enough Japanese.
I’m not saying it’s a bad program, but you’re not going to learn to speak the language with it alone. I can’t imagine it’s much different with Spanish.
What I strongly recommend is to use it in conjunction with other learning methods. Watch Spanish-language TV; get some books, find a Spanish speaker. The more different methods you use simultaneously the more immersion you achieve and the better and more quickly you’re going to learn.
I am using all of the methods I just mentioned (except that I don’t have Japanese TV available), plus I have Rosetta Stone, which really forms the center of my learning program. I’d be WAY behind where I am now if I didn’t have Rosetta Stone.
It may be 5 times more expensive but I’m learning a lot more than 5 times as much. The problem of course is that it’s out of the price range of some people.
So to answer your question, Rocket helps — it’s a good program for what it does — but you’re not going to become a Spanish language speaker with 20 CDs.
